iTunes is considered by most media analysts to be the best music download service for PC and Mac users. Lauched by Apple in 2003, iTunes became the first really user-friendly service to download single songs, and for 99¢ each, with just one click; entire albums are just $9.99.

iTunes success is due, in part, to it's simplicity and ease of use. You simply sign up with a credit card and pay just 99¢ a song. Other services require confusing monthly subscription fees, but iTunes does not.
